I first started experimenting with double exposures on instant pack film in an attempt to fit multiple pictures on one sheet of FP-100C. Given the cease in production by Fuji, it seemed like a good way to preserve the stock and get more value.
This was made by taking two exposures, one each with roughly half the lens blocked out by a "darkslide" I made, which was simply a piece of manila folder cut to shape and covered with black electrical tape. While I found it virtually impossible to block out all the light on one portion of the frame like a Polaroid Miniportrait would, I ended up getting interesting results.
I've done a fair amount of these now, and this is definitely one of my favorites. This is a composite of the space needle (no, really?) and the south Insignia Tower.
You can also see part of the top of Komo Plaza. I really love the way those satellite dishes look.
This is also a perfect example of why I love FP-100C, it seems to have amazing blue rendition.
